The 2012 Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Nominations

Here they are. Read ‘em and rejoice, or weep, or appear confused, whatever works. The 2012 LADSISSIE NOMS. I see a tremendous lack of “In the Red and Brown Water”, except in a couple categories. Doesn’t make me happy. And how progressive of the LADCC to merge musicals and plays into the single “Production” category, who needs distinction. Apparently not them because they also merged all the boys and girls together in the single categories of “lead performance” and “feature performance”. Ah, the fine fresh scent of unisexuality. What were they hurting for awards budget this year? I guess it’s the economy, inflation, recession, it’s all the same anyway, right? Boys, girls, musicals, straight plays.  I feel exhausted just looking at these…
