The Friday Feature

Saw this last night, Cheek by Jowl’s production of ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore, in association with CAP UCLA. Have to admit I was not familiar with the company or the play. Tarantino’s got nothing on Ford and the Jowlies. Yikes. Catch it if you can, only playing through this weekend. Still not sure why they cut the final lines of the play “Who could not say, ‘Tis pity she’s a whore?” To create some sense of moral ambiguity? Trust me, there really ain’t none. It’s a 400 year old snuff film. But an entertaining one. Heh.
