ASSISTANT EDITOR / COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

LA STAGE Alliance is hiring a full-time (40 hours/week) entry-level Assistant Editor for LASTAGETimes.com / Communications Coordinator to provide editorial support for our expanding Arts Journalism outlet and to facilitate the daily communications activities and customer service to LA STAGE members and participants for a variety of programs and services.

Specific tasks include acting as the primary administrator and poster of stories on LASTAGETimes.com, which includes coordinating with the editorial staff, writers and publicists involved with each story, photo selections and photo editing work. The role also includes overseeing and being a voice for LA STAGE’s social media presences (facebook, twitter, youtube, etc), managing, drafting and sending LA STAGE email blasts and mailings, and handling all LA STAGE public communications, including the new suite of LA STAGE websites. The role will also be part of a team providing front-line customer service for some of LA STAGE’S programs and services.

Salary is commensurate with experience. Paid parking/Metropass included with position. Position includes full health and dental benefits, and an optional 401k plan.

OUTREACH ASSOCIATE

LA STAGE Alliance is hiring a part-time (20 hours/week) Outreach Associate to facilitate the daily outreach, awareness and engagement for LA STAGE Alliance programs and activities, including Organizational and Individual Membership, their PatronManagerCRM system, SpacefinderLA, LA STAGE TIX ticketing services, the Enter-To-Win ticket distribution system, and many other programs and activities.

Specific tasks include doing market research on Southern California arts & culture organizations, and providing in-person, phone, email and mail-based outreach, for LA STAGE’s programs and services.

Salary is commensurate with experience. Paid parking/Metropass included with position. Position is initially part-time, but has the potential to become full time with benefits in the next year.
