Where has the LAthtrNinja gone?

You may remember him/her.

Twitter handle: @LAthtrninja.

Moniker:

Stealthily promoting Theatre in Los Angeles.
The Shadows of LA’s Theatres.

Kinda silly, sure, but it was also kinda fun, trying to figure out who exactly WAS the LAThtrNinja. Knowing this person was there with you on certain night in the theater but not quite sure who it might be. And the tweets were, well, kinda ninja-worthy and I’ll even argue, good for LA Theater.

And then on August 17, 2011 there came this re-tweet:

Is it sit down? RT @allubelalone: Al Lubel- Al Alone: A One Man Show About One Man. Dark, edgy, hilarious!(NOT stand up). www.allubel.com

And then nothing. Not a peep. Not a tweet to be found for over a year and half. Don’t know why this has suddenly leapt back into my brain today, but it has and so I do what I do, post about it.

I’ve always had my suspicions who this person was and frankly I think the timing of the final tweet may be a clue. I’m guessing the person either left town or else got a real job that made it practically impossible for their tweets to have any relevance anymore.

What do you think, LemonHeads? Who was and perhaps still is the LAthtrNinja? Why did they stop tweeting? Where did they go? Did someone take this individual out? And if so, why? And does anybody except me really care?

Come back, LAthtrNinja, come back. We need you.

  1. We love the LAThtrNinja! Wish they’d come back, whoever they are. The concept is awesome and the buzz they generated was substantial. If the original can’t come back, perhaps it’s time to hand the cowl and katana down to the next generation.

So I guess it’s not you, Greg. Unless that last comment was just a clever mis-direction. Hmmmm.
