  1. Sure, if that’s how you want to frame it. But you could easily transpose the two examples and be equally valid. Context is everything.

      Though I’m not sure I agree with your comment. Name one major work of public art in America say in the last 20 years that specifically desecrates Islam. I’m sure there are some examples out there, but I could name at least a dozen that specifically desecrate Christianity. I’m sure the artist would argue that was not their intent, but nevertheless, some things are self evident.

      One thing you are most certainly correct about, context is most certainly everything.
