A Family Friendly version of Mel Brook’s hysterical movie

Directed by Nancy Horak and Jeff Lucas

Musical Director Kris Feldman.

YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN THE MUSICAL, with music and lyrics by Mel Brooks and book by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, is a wickedly inspired re-imagining of the Frankenstein legend based on Mel Brooks’ classic comedy masterpiece — his 1974 film, “Young Frankenstein”.
The story follows bright young Dr. Frankenstein (that’s Fronkensteen) as he attempts to complete his grandfather’s masterwork and bring a corpse to life.

Wow… I have seen some BAD theatre in my time… but THIS.. THIS was awful! I hate to be a jerk but really… this was not cute. Luckily, I have funn wherever I go. I had a blast watching the drunk/valium’d out piano player/musical producer… swaying in between the long scene changes…. playing the keyboard poorly. The acting sucked, the choreography was a mess, and I just love seeing a trainwreck. I have been in some trainwrecks, but nothing this monumentally fucked! It was fun.
