Vote for the 2012 BroadwayWorld Los Angeles Theater Awards

You though the Ovation Awards were a a peer reviewed award? Well they got nothin’ on the BroadwayWorld Theater Awards.

Currently open to…well…anyone with an email address, you can just go to this link then click on the category you want to vote on and then vote! It’s that easy.

No, it’s not a popularity contest, it’s democracy for Christ’s sake. Look here’s a graphic of the current race in the Best Lead Actor in a Play Local Production category:

French Stewart from Stoneface is running away with it with almost 30% of the votes! Clearly French is perpetrating voter suppression.

Here’s another one for Best Play Local Production:

See how cool it is? Almost 30% percent voted for…wait…Stoneface. Hmmm. I’m sensing a trend here.

Anyway, it’s a fun internetty thing to do, you register, you vote, the graphs grow right before your eyes and you get a chance to vote on your favorite stuff from this year’s season. How can that be wrong?
