Even with variable results from multiple entries this year, Theatre Unleashed is a good fit with the Hollywood Fringe Festival, as the return of this surefire speed-theater exercise bears out.

It’s no surprise that a collection of twenty-five plays contains varied tones, subject matter, and levels of quality. The shorts are more hit than miss, and while the production may be light as a feather, it’s undeniably a lot of fun.

In one hour alone you can see twenty-five short plays that span from hilarious to poignant on a Los Angeles stage.

Each member of the troupe had a dynamic range of abilities, and they all “brought it.” I loved every one of the plays. Even if by chance I hadn’t, all you had to do was wait two minutes, and another play would start.
