BITTERSWEET
Doyle is a gifted writer who gives us a number of marvelous moments. Nevertheless, despite some amazing performances, “Anaconda” never quite coalesces.
Jennie Webb – Backstage
SWEET
Anaconda is definitely not for the faint-hearted; there are some descriptions of graphic violence that made this critic queasy. Nevertheless, Sarah Doyle’s effective play is well worth seeing.
Pauline Adamek – LA Weekly
BITTER
Anaconda deals with some big current issues, and it has thought provoking questions about redemption and what counts as participation, but it never really engages and it the main characters journey doesn’t go very far.
Larry Pontius – Bitter Lemons
SWEET
It was a moving piece and one of my highlights of this year’s Fringe. Don’t miss this show!
Bob Leggett – LA Examiner
