SWEET
Great production mixed with America’s favorite past time makes this a wonderful show and a definite must see.
Mary E. Montoro – LifeInLA

BITTERSWEET
Either because the material itself is now somewhat dated or the cast is too green to pull it off, Take Me Out ultimately lacks the impact that its playwright surely intended.
Barnaby Hughes – Stage and Cinema

BITTERSWEET
Greenberg’s three-act production is an ambitious project for any theater company to take on under the best of circumstances, and Rise Above Theater Movement’s version is a mixture of heartfelt amateurism and problematic staging leavened by some good performances.
Kurt Gardner – Blog Critics

LemonMeter About the Author: We don’t “review” shows here at the Lemon, rather we "review" reviews by gathering them from a variety of local review sites around the internet, judging them to be positive or negative, then forming an aggregate score that we call a LEMONMETER RATING, showing how well that show has been reviewed in total. “America’s favorite past time.” Really? I mean, REALLY? Shouldn’t there be a requirement of at least minimal literacy before some of these “reviewers” are added to the Lemonmeter? If THAT has an equal footing (not in the case, but theoretically possible) with Steven Leigh Morris or Tony Frankel in raising or lowering the Lemon Bar, what value is it? (And yeah, I know what the problem was here – finding the minimum 3 reviews – but I repeat: REALLY?)
