Playfully directed by Meredith Berg, the capable cast of six gives ambitious and multi-faceted performances.
Pat Taylor – Tolucan Times
Liz Shannon Miller’s romantic comedy gets off to a rocky start, with unremarkable acting and staging, but soon finds its rhythm, as the cast of six improves as the story begins to plumb emotional depths.
Pauline Adamek – LA Weekly
It is indeed rare to witness a compelling contemporary love story produced on a Los Angeles stage, notwithstanding one with courage, spirit and spine.
Radomir Luza – North Hollywood-Toluca Lake Patch
Let me be blunt: I liked this play. You should go see this play. It is very good.
Brian Sonia-Wallace – LA Theatre Review
The script, by Liz Shannon Miller, is both heartwarming and funny, as the Hero and Heroine of Jane’s romance novel (played by the same actors who play Ali and Darian) act out Jane’s writing on stage. The cast turns in beautiful, nuanced performances under the direction of Meredith Berg, making for an amusing and poignant play.
Anastasios Papapostolou – Hollywood Greek Reporter
It is well cast. All the characters are convincing.
Maureen Creigh – NoHoArtsDistrict
