Audition Notice: Theatricum Botanicum is seeking male and female local actors of all ages and ethnicities for Theatricum’s 2012 Summer Repertory Season. Outdoor Theatre with five productions: Measure For Measure and A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare; Heartbreak House by George Bernard Shaw; Cherry Doc’s by David Gow and a show TBA.
Seeking all roles, alternates and understudies. EMC points and internships available. Please prepare a 1-3 minute Shakespearean monologue and bring a headshot and resume. All Auditions and Call Backs take place on the main stage theatre at 1419 N. Topanga Canyon Blvd., Topanga, CA 90290
Shakespeare Productions begin rehearsals on 4/17; perform weekday mornings throughout May, early June and again in early October. Weekend repertory performances run 6/2 thru 10/13. Heartbreak House and fourth show (TBA) rehearse evenings in May and June and join the repertory performances through the end of the season.

Equity Casting, Open Call: Friday, March 16th 9am to 4pm
Non-Equity Casting, Open Call: Saturday, March 17th 9am to 3pm
Students & Internship auditions, by appointment: Sunday, March 11th 9am to 3pm
RAIN DATES:
Equity Casting, Open Call: Thursday, March 23rd 9am to 4pm
Non-Equity Casting, Open Call: Saturday, March 24th 9am to 3pm
Students & Internship auditions, by appointment: Sunday, March 25th 9am to 3pm
Call Backs:
Saturday March 24th 9am-3pm (as scheduled)
If these dates are used for Audition Rain Dates then Call Backs will be held the week of March 31st by appointment.

About the Author: ENCI is an actor and recently turned writer and director. She is an urban cyclist, passionate about living intentionally, about leaving less behind and about living healthy. Enci is a member of SAG and AFTRA and is on the board of the 501(c)4 Bikeside and is co-founder of the Bike Writers Collective. Enci teaches all over town about web etiquettes and social media and is involved with the East Hollywood Neighborhood Council where she serves on the Arts & Culture Committee. I’m excited to hear that David Gow’s “Cherry Docs” will be making its LA debut. It is a well-reviewed Canadian play that has also been made into a well-received Canadian movie, “Steel Toes”, starring David Strathairn (who also played the lead in the US premiere)
