The Thursday Thought (On a Friday)

What I love the most about Jon Stewart is not necessarily his political leanings, but more the fact that when he skewers someone, be it on the right or the left, he almost always places everything exactly smack dab in the middle of its true context. Where others in the media will spin and splice and twist the context to meet their needs, Stewart says “Nope this is really what’s going on.” And the effect is usually hilarious and ever so poignant.

Check out his take on the Media absolutely ignoring Ron Paul almost winning the recent Iowa Republican Straw Poll. The absurdity is almost Ionescian (is that a word? It is now!)

Stewart truly is a Mark Twain for the Digital Age.
